Press Release Summary = The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce unveiled their new
logo created by NH New Hampshire Graphic Design Company Big Bull Creative at the
February Chamber after hours event.

Press Release Body = The final decision was made by the Greater Salem Chamber of
Commerce executive committee to unveil their new logo this month. The executive
committee put together a task force last quarter that comprised of 5 designers of
various backgrounds, some members of the chamber, the Executive Director, 2nd Vice
Chair and Advertising and Business Service, Inc., an advertising promotions company.
Once the task force decided on its goals for the logo and why it was needed, each
designer was asked to submit ideas. The Chamber realized they needed a new look to
reflect their growth and progress. The Chamber currently consists of five core
towns; Atkinson, Hampstead, Windham, Salem, Pelham.
The task force chose a design submitted from Maryann Smith Little, Owner of Big Bull
Creative, in Plaistow, NH.
"Maryann was critical to the successful development of the Chamber\'s new look. She
helped the group set clear objectives, assemble ideas, and ultimately meet those
objectives with the creation of a strong symbol for the Chamber," said Donna Morris,
The Greater Salem Executive Director.
\"The design the task force chose reflects an abstract of the towns. It also gives a
sense of growth, security, progression, strength and business,\" explained Maryann.
\"We\'re very happy they chose it and if we were to have chosen it ourselves, this is
the design we would have went with. It really reflects where this chamber is
headed.\"

The logo was unveiled at the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce after hours event on
February 21st at 5:30 pm, at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

Maryann Little was honored at the event for her contribution and efforts in the
creation of the design.
